Intro
Before the lockdown in France went into affect, I took a trip which was planned by the ESN network. Together with 2 other friends, we decided it would be nice to get to know more people who are on Erasmus in Toulouse.
It started of with meeting near a shopping mall, the instructions given by the organization were a bit unclear but we managed to find the group in time for the departure.
Albi

One of the first things we saw in Albi was the Cathedral of Saint Cecilia of Albi, this cathedral was built using bricks. It was really an impressive sight, the inside was even better.
After visiting the Cathedral we had some time to wander around in the city which is still really rustic. We had about an hour before we had to meet up for lunch so together with some friends we decided to find a nice spot to have an apéro.
We had dinner at a restaurant which belongs to a friend of one of the organizers. There was a lot of tapas, wine and fun! I enjoyed talking to a lot of different people from different nationalities and learning about their experience in Toulouse.
After dinner we got back on the bus in order to go to Cordes-sur-Cieles.
Cordes-sur-Cieles

When we arrived in Cordes-sur-Cieles we went to the store to grab a bottle of wine, according to the organization there would be a great view to drink some wine. So after doing the necessary detour for wine we headed up the hill.
I feel bad for the people living on the mountain because it was pretty steep to get up, imagine if you forgot something at the store and need to go back down the hill to get it. Nevertheless it was worth climbing the hill for the view.
After having a ‘few’ glasses of wine, it was time to head back to Toulouse. Too bad there was someone on the bus who couldn’t handle the wine so the bus was a bit smelly on the way back to Toulouse…
