Hello there, my name is Thibaut De Laere, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Informatics at KU Leuven. With a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Sciences from Howest University College, my specialization is in “Computer & Cyber Crime Professional”, although I also have a strong foundation in programming.
One of my most exciting experiences was participating in a hackathon for Deloitte Luxembourg in 2019. We worked with Laravel, a PHP framework, and despite never having worked with it before, our team managed to win the competition.
To further prepare myself for a career in the industry, I completed an international internship with Ausy in Toulouse.
Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy spending my weekends as an active scout leader. I also have a passion for traveling, especially when I can do so with friends. Technology and everything related to it fascinates me, and I am always eager to learn more.
